Warrington is perfectly placed between Manchester and Liverpool — which means members can choose between two club scenes, and more than a few choose Barton. The M62 eastbound from J9 runs straight to J12 of the M60 at Eccles, and Barton Road is a short turn from there.

Warrington has a strong modified scene of its own, and M60 Modified draws from it every Friday night. Come and bring what you're building — the car park at Barton rewards the effort.

  • Join the M62 eastbound from Warrington — access via J9 (A49)
  • Follow M62 eastbound — it merges directly onto the M60 at J12 (Eccles)
  • Exit at J12, turn right onto the A57, then right again onto Barton Road
  • Barton Aerodrome entrance on the left

From Latchford / Stockton Heath

  • Head north on the A49 toward Warrington town centre
  • Join the M62 eastbound at J9
  • Follow M62 east to where it joins M60 at J12 (Eccles)
  • Exit and turn right onto Barton Road — aerodrome on the left
