Hyde is at the far eastern end of the M60 corridor, but that just means a clean motorway run to Barton on a Friday evening — no town centres, no traffic lights, straight through to J12 at Eccles.

Members from Hyde, Woodley, Gee Cross, and Hattersley have been part of M60 Modified since the early days. Good cars, good chat, and worth every mile of that 30-minute drive.

  • Head west on the A57 towards Denton, joining the M60 at J24
  • Follow M60 westbound for approximately 12 miles to J12 (Eccles / A57)
  • Exit onto A57 westbound, turn right onto Barton Road
  • Barton Aerodrome entrance on the left

From Woodley / Gee Cross

  • Head north to join the M60 at J25 (Hyde / A560) westbound
  • Follow M60 westbound to J12 (Eccles)
  • Exit onto A57 westbound, turn right onto Barton Road
  • Aerodrome entrance on the left
