Liverpool has one of the strongest modified scenes in the northwest — and M60 Modified draws from it. The M62 eastbound is a direct line from the city to J12 of the M60 at Eccles, and Barton Road is a short turn from there. About 45 minutes door to door.

  • Head east on the A57 or A580 (East Lancs Road) toward the M62
  • Join the M62 eastbound — follow east toward Manchester
  • M62 merges directly onto the M60 at J12 (Eccles) — exit and turn right onto Barton Road
  • Barton Aerodrome entrance on the left

From South Liverpool / Huyton

  • Head east on the A562 or A57 toward Huyton, joining the M62 eastbound
  • Follow M62 east to where it joins the M60 at J12 (Eccles)
  • Exit at J12, turn right onto the A57, then right onto Barton Road
  • Barton Aerodrome entrance on the left — allow around 45 minutes
