Burnley, Nelson, and Accrington have always had a strong car culture — and M60 Modified draws from it. The M65 connects to the M61 corridor via Blackburn and Bolton, putting Barton Aerodrome about 40 minutes south on a Friday evening.
It's not the shortest run, but the East Lancashire contingent at Barton is always worth watching — and once you've made the trip once, you'll be back. £3 on the gate, no booking. Just the cars and the people.
